A Day of Discovery: MTA & Mystic Learning Center Visit the Museum of Science

The Mystic Tenant Association (MTA) and the Mystic Learning Center came together for a fun and educational field trip to the Museum of Science in Boston — and what an incredible day it was!

From the moment the kids stepped off the bus, their excitement filled the air. The day was packed with curiosity, laughter, and hands-on learning as the children explored exhibits about space, animals, engineering, and technology. Many of them experienced the OMNI Theater for the very first time — a highlight that had everyone in awe as they watched the massive dome screen come to life.

We want to give a special thank you to the Museum of Science for generously providing admission and OMNI Theater tickets, making this experience possible for so many children and staff. Another huge thank you to Marianne Walles, whose bus donation ensured everyone could travel safely and comfortably to and from the museum.

The smiles on the kids’ faces said it all — this trip was not only educational but also inspiring. It reminded us why community partnerships matter so deeply and how shared experiences can spark curiosity and connection.

As we look ahead, the MTA is committed to creating more opportunities like this for our youth and families. Together, we’re helping build brighter futures — one field trip, one smile, and one moment of wonder at a time.
